Why I Help Women Like You

Hi, I'm Sabrina
For years, I followed the safe path—the one everyone expects you to take: the degree, the job, the house, the long-term relationship. You might add family to your list; I skipped that part. I wasn’t exactly conventional, but I didn’t question the path much either. I just kind of… kept going, blindly following the well-trodden route—until I couldn’t anymore.
Let’s Rewind
After university, I took a gap year to travel—one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. That year shaped me (I’ll explain more later). But when I got back, I settled back into “real world” routines.
I had a deep desire to help people, so I built a career in the charity sector. I moved up quickly, and on paper, things looked great. In reality? I felt stuck. Lost. Like I’d climbed a ladder that was leaning against the wrong wall. The problem was, I wasn’t clear what I wanted instead, so I stayed stuck—for a whopping four years.
If you’re feeling stuck too (for whatever reason), I created the Ultimate Guide to Getting Unstuck. You can download it now.
So, How Did I Get Unstuck?
Long story… If you haven’t made yourself a cuppa, now’s the time. Remember my gap year? I don’t think I’d completely filled my boots. Part of me wanted to travel again, part of me wanted to live abroad or be a digital nomad. Another part of me wanted to become a personal trainer. Another part of me dreamed of living by the sea.
Too many ideas, stacked on top of responsibilities and commitments. It felt like too much to tackle—so, obviously, I just ignored it all, hoping something or someone would sort it out for me. (Spoiler: terrible strategy.)
The Spark That Lit The Fire
After a couple of job hops—cue boredom and frustration—I landed a role in Innovation and New Product Development. Hello, life! Where had this been hiding?! That role sparked something. I realised how doing something I enjoyed brought me back to life. That little spark was enough to light a fire.…Until the organisation decided they weren’t ready for innovation. Cue more frustration (think: head in hands). But this time, I was ready to jump ship.

Getting My Sh*t Together
My partner and I made a plan so I could start exploring my “dream list.” Remember I said I wanted to be a digital nomad and a personal trainer? Tick and tick. Thankfully, my partner has been incredibly supportive of all my ventures (yes, we’re still together).
After a short-lived dally with the digital nomad life (turns out, not as glamorous as it looks), I returned and trained as a Personal Trainer. I turned this into a business helping midlifers move and feel better.
How My Business Evolved
My business has evolved in ways I never imagined. First, curiosity led me to the EMMETT Technique—a soft tissue therapy that completely changed how I work. Then there was COVID—no one saw that coming.
Running my own business has given me the freedom and flexibility to work around my partner’s teaching schedule, so we can enjoy our shared love of travel.

What I’ve Learned
Since getting back in the driving seat of my life, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about myself—and what makes people tick. Completing an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) course was a real game changer. It helped me understand not just my own patterns and behaviours, but my clients’ too.
I’ve always been drawn to techniques that get faster results. I trained in sports and remedial massage to help with injury rehab. Massage is great, but it usually takes time to see progress. In contrast, the EMMETT Technique often brings instant relief—clients feel a difference straight away. NLP works similarly; the shifts happen in real time. When I work with my clients, I use techniques that accelerate progress. Who doesn’t want more, in less time?
Why I’m Here Now
So, how did I get to where I am today? I became very aware of the ticking clock at age 46, and for some reason, life now feels short. There are still so many things I want to achieve—so I thought, why not guide other midlife women to live their best life too?
Midlife is a time for reflection, not a crisis. It’s time to celebrate our achievements and how far we’ve come, but also question what’s next. We reassess our careers, our relationships, our lifestyles. Is your life—and the people in it—bringing you joy? If the answer is no, maybe it’s time to try something new. Letting go of what no longer serves you makes space for new adventures, new relationships, new opportunities.
That’s what brought me here: to help women like you carve out a life that truly feels like yours—because your best moves are still to come.
